The Pilgrimage Begins NOW
The registration deadline has been extended to JUNE 14, 2025!!
Spiritual Preparations
A pilgrimage begins when you decide to make your journey. Financial, prayer, logistical, travel, etc.; these preparations are all a part of your pilgrimage journey. We recommend beginning your preparations as soon as possible to be able to offer God as much as you can on your pilgrimage journey. Below are some recommended spiritual preparations set by our Pilgrimage Chaplains. As well as the official Jubilee Prayer.
Meet Our Chaplains
In preparation for the pilgrimage it is important that we turn to clergy for help in growing in relationship with God and holiness. Some beautiful priests have offered their assistance to our journey. Let’s meet our chaplains.
Father Manny Rodriguez
Parish Administrator - Sacred Heart Parish, Susanville, CA
Fr. Manny has been ordained since 2019. He was a parochial vicar at St. Vincent in Vallejo, St. Charles Borromeo in Sacramento, and St. Joseph in Elk Grove before becoming parish administrator at Sacred Heart Parish in Susanville.
As you prepare for the pilgrimage and begin your journey of preparations, consider beginning a Sacred Heart Novena, to culminate on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, on June 27th.
Father Joshua Sia
Parish Administrator - Our Lady of the Snows Parish, Lake Almanor, CA
Father Matt Blank
St. John Parish, Quincy, CA
Originally a mechanical engineer since 1995. Father Matt attended The Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus Ohio for Seminary 2000-2007. His assignments include: Parochial Vicar at Good Shepherd, Elk Grove, Pastor at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Truckee, Pastor at St. Isidore, Yuba City, Pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes, Colusa, Pastor at St. John, Quincy.
Father would like to introduce pilgrims to the revelations of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the apparitions of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. Click Here to read an account of the revelations and Father would like to especially encourage the reading of Chapter IX, starting on page 160. Most specifically, the third apparition during which Jesus begins, “Behold this Heart…”, page 176. What better way to encounter the Sacred Heart of Jesus in writing than to defer to the accounts from the servant He most carefully chose to reveal Himself through? Please consider spending some time with this writing as you prepare your heart to encounter God during your pilgrimage for the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

JUBILEE PRAYER
Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever. Amen.
